Currently the main way you can do that is by selling items on the marketplace. You can create them, or buy & sell. Created items are subject to review etc to prevent plagiarism, porn, etc. Trading is easier but you basically need to find opportunities that you think are going to go up in value. We will add more ways to earn coins with time, for completing challenges, etc.
-
And of course if you want to top up, you can buy Sticky coins in bundles that are better value the bigger the bundle.
-
Worth noting that if you are looking to spend the coins, that's super easy. You can just spend the coins you have. If you are looking to receive a payout (e.g. you are a creator and want a payout in dollars) there are a number of requirements to prevent fraud.

Great question. No it is not. Further, Sticky Coins are currently just an in-app currency, not a crypto token. If you look at our terms of use they are pretty clear that they are not convertible, do not have real world value, etc. We do think of creating a Crypto version of the Sticky Coin, but that would only become a priority after the Sticky platform is more mature, there are lots of people enjoying it, etc. And if we do something like that we want do it right, making sure we are complying with all rules, laws, etc

Several members asked if you can earn money on Sticky and if so how. The answer is âYes, butâŚâ. Sticky is a work in progress. Weâre working hard to build a cool platform and a healthy community of creators, gamers, and traders. And we believe members who create and do cool things on Sticky definitely should get paid! So we look forward to lots of members earning lots of money in lots of different ways eventually. We built features for members to get paid very early on, but, to be very honest, they at first attracted more interest from users trying to make a low-effort quick buck (and outright fraudsters) than from genuine creators. So we established a fairly extensive set of requirements to get paid - doable if youâre serious about creating and trading on Sticky - but a hassle if youâre looking to get something for nothing. You can see them in the âPaymentsâ section of the menu. Critically, the payments arenât made automatically. Our team reviews every single payment request, looks at the user profile, understands where the earnings come from, and we have zero commitment to paying fraudsters or plagiarists. We also donât pay out earnings that were received from a user who committed some kind of fraud or violation of the appâs terms (even if the person who received the earnings didnât do anything wrong themselves). It is also the case that the requirements can change over time as we try to make things as easy as possible for everyone who is acting in good faith and as hard as possible for those who arenât. I realise that all of this can be frustrating. So for now, my recommendation is that you should be here either for the fun (the games, trading, communities) with the possibility of earning some money as a âplusâ, or with a long term view of being on a platform that is evolving in an interesting direction. If you are unsure and have particularly cool projects (games, clubs, item/NFT collections) that you might want to put on Sticky, one option is to reach out to us and chat here in the community. About different coin types - only âearnedâ Sticky Coins can result in a payment. Bought Coins (coins you bought yourself with in-app-purchases or on the web) and Bonus coins (which we give out as prizes, etc.) can be used in the app but not for requesting payments). You can see the breakdown of your coin balance in your wallet. Hope this helps! - Alan @ Sticky Dev Team
